Join Outlet to guarantee access to every tutorial for Dexter's monthly online dance battle.

Learn the steps, post your best, and compete for top spot on the leaderboard, or just for fun. Tons of monthly and season-long prizes,

and bragging rights are on the line.

Every battle is announced on IG so make sure to follow : @dexter.outlet

To Enter:

  • Sign up to Outlet to guarantee access to every tutorial.
  • If you have an iPhone, make sure to download Outlet iOS.
  • Follow @dexter.outlet on IG.
  • Check the latest battle announcement from @dexter.outlet on the 15th of every month.
  • Watch and practice the combo (and repeat as needed!)
  • Post your entry to IG or Tiktok, making sure to tag @dexter.outlet, @dextercarr, and use the battle hashtags (these will always be included in our monthly announcement post on IG).
  • Entries accepted until 11:59 pm (Pacific time) on the last day of each month.
  • If you have an iPhone, link your IG or TikTok to each Battle in the Battles tab on Outlet iOS.
  • Dexter will select the Top 3, and dish out a bunch of other awards for each battle.
  • Not about perfection (!). Looking for fun, creativity, location, vibe, essence.

1. Where can I find the Battles tutorials?

You need an Outlet account. More details here.

2. Do I need an iPhone to enter?

NO!

Just make sure you follow the guidelines. We'll keep track don't worry.

We've got something coming real soon for the Android people out there.

3. I'm a minor, can I enter?

YES!*

*But make sure to get permission from a parent or legal guardian first.

4. I'm not in America, can I enter?

YES!

5. I'm not sure if I'm good enough, should I enter?

DAMN RIGHT YOU SHOULD!

It's just about having fun in an amazing and supportive community.

6. How do the points work?

Participation

  • 10 points just for joining.
  • 10 points for each consecutive Battle you enter (ie: your third straight Battle will earn you 30 extra points)

As Judged by Dexter

  • 50 points for Most Creative
  • 50 points for Git It Git It award
  • 50 points for More Dedicated
  • 50 points for Rising Star
  • 50 points for Best Move
  • 50 points for Dex's pick
  • 50 points for 3rd place
  • 75 points for 2nd place
  • 100 points for 1st place
7. What do the points get me?

The top 3 from each Battle will get prizes from the dextercarr.com store.

Your points accumulate over time, and we'll be announcing special prizes for points leaders over time, and for each season. stay tuned.

8. Are the Battles always free to enter?

The Battles are always free to enter, but some months the tutorial for that Battle will only be available for Basic or Pro Outlet members.
